Is the agency a licensed private home care provider?
YES! CareMed Private Homecare Solution is licensed in state of Georgia and follows all Department of Community Health rules and regulations.
Is the agency bonded and insured?
YES! CareMed Private Homecare Solution insured if there is an accident or injury in your home. As well as if they are bonded in the event something is broken, goes missing or theft.
Does the agency have a Registered Nurse establish and oversee all care plans?
YES! We have Case Manager and RN supervisor for all caregivers.
Does the agency require background checks on all employees?
All of CareMed Caregivers have to clear background check before the first day of work at any client home or facility.
Does the agency require training for caregivers to keep up with all changes in homecare?
CareMed offers mandatory on-going in-service training throughout the year for caregivers.
What if I need to speak with someone after business hours?
CareMed Private Homecare Solution office staff is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.
I have medical insurance and I’m not sure if it covers home care. Will CareMed Private Homecare Solution verify coverage before starting service?
CareMed Private Homecare Solution is very comfortable in guiding the policyholder with questions to ask the insurance carrier regarding their coverage. There are many Long Term Care companies that offer policies that cover home care.
Is Medicare or Medicaid available for non-medical in-home care?
As of 2019, some Medicare Advantage plans may cover home care services depending on the plan. Based on financial need, Medicaid may pay for home care services, however, Medicaid rules are state-specific and eligibility and benefits differ by state.

Can you do short-term senior care?

Can you care for someone in a facility (hospital, nursing home or assisted living)?
Yes. We provide services to everyone wherever they call home.
What if a loved one needs to relocate while receiving CareMed services?
We transition with you. We work with your loved one and their support system to continue providing care.
Do I have to sign a contract locking me into services?
No. CareMed Private Homecare Solution is here to meet your needs, and as your needs change, so will the services you receive. Our service agreement reflects this and adapts to meet changing needs.
How often do I get billed for services?
Billing procedures occurs weekly by CareMed Home Care office.
Is there any additional cost to me?
No. Every agreement is clear and transparent; there are no hidden fees. The most typical additional cost you may incur is mileage when you ask your caregiver to run errands in their vehicle.
How long will it take to get a caregiver?
Based on your customized plan of care, caregivers will be matched by availability, skills, and personality. We strive to meet immediate needs or proactive planning.
How do you select my caregiver?
All our caregivers have successfully completed CareMed Private Homecare Solution training, passed a national criminal background check, and are bonded and insured. We match your specific needs and requests to the skills and experience of our caregivers to find the best care-team to meet your goals.
